Partev...
Vox Musica:
Partev studied music composition from the late 60's through the late 70's in high school and at Los Angeles Pierce College before studying electronics. He has performed on, engineered and/or produced a number of demo recordings and work tape recordings for people over the years. Between September 1974 to December 1983, Partev was a vocalist in the tenor section of a choral group where he recorded with them 2-studio albums and some 18-live concert albums. In 2004 Partev returned to music studies, taking courses in electronic music from the Music Department at Los Angeles Pierce College, under the instruction of David Pinto and Michael Watts, where Partev received a Certificate of Achievement in Electronic Music, in June 2006.

At Bushwack Studios, the Road Less Traveled:
Partev was crew member, technician, music notator and sometime music arranger at Bushwack Studios, where he worked with the bands Iron Butterfly (1975-77), Magic (1977-78), Gold (1978-79), songwriter John Koehring (1976-79) and keyboardist Larry Rust and his band Elvin Tongue (1976-79). Partev also played the occasional acoustic 12-string guitar on work tapes and jams recorded with John, Larry and a mix of the rest of the Bushwack Bunch (1975-79).

Beyond the Bushwack- Technology Road:
After Bushwack, Partev built amplifiers for Crest Audio, LM1 drum computers for Linn Electronics, was audio tech and tape librarian at Stanley H. Kaplan Test Prep, at Art & Technology he built electronics for the E.T. Ride for Universal Tours in Florida, did audio/video installation, sales and repair tech at the Thrifty Electronics/Sound Shack. He was senior test and repair tech at Xantech Corp, was an ADAT repair and service technician at Alesis Studio Electronics, an audio repair technician at Westlake Audio Recording's Tech Services Dept. in Hollywood and a temp technician servicing 35mm film camera circuits, accessories and Hi-Def monitors and accessories at Panavision in Woodland Hills, California. At present Partev is an audio electronics repair technician and electronics circuit troubleshooter for Line 6 at their Simi Valley, California facility.

Music Scoring for Film and Video (and the occasional acting):
Between 1985 to 1993 Partev worked on some six independent film short projects (three as actor, and all six as technician and/or sound recorder and audio technician) working with long time friend and associate Noel Crispin Pratt (whom he's known since his Bushwack Studios days). They composed, arranged and scored music, and did post production audio on four of those six indie films, including the 1989 Cine Golden Eagle Award winning indie film short Typist In Trouble by Matt Ratalsky. More recently Partev can be seen on You Tube as the dancing long-haired machine shop worker in the video by 'panawill' as a submission to the Red Hot Chili Peppers 'Charlie Video' contest (2007).
Music from the 1989 Cine Golden Eagle Award winning indie film short Typist In Trouble and other music can be heard on their upcoming CD entitled Out of the Woodwork by Partev and his long time friend, colleague and music collaborator Cris Pratt. During the early 1980's, Partev and Cris used to design and build their own analog music synthesizer modules from scratch, but these days they use the more modern digital audio gear.
